SO GLAD YOU’RE HERE!

I’m Brandy and I’d love to welcome you to O Portalzinho. After some time working in connection and hospitality at companies like Shake Shack and Sofar Sounds, I moved from NYC to Brazil in 2018. I fell in love with the culture, people, and stunning nature.

I believe the best way to experience the world is to really connect with the place and other people. I worked and stayed in my fair share of hostels when I was younger and loved the easy flow of meeting other travelers, but eventually aged out of them in search for something more comfortable.

O Portalzinho is designed to bring together the best of both worlds of the connection of hostels with the comfort of hotels. Our ultimate goal is to help our guests take a break from busy day-to-day life, and really get to know Paraty and each other.
